Time Travel (rhyming poem)

If someone from the not-so-distant past
Travelled to this very year
Would they be aghast
And filled with panicked fear?
Or would they be amazed
In awe of our inventions
Perhaps we’d all be praised
For our incredible extensions
How different could we possibly be?
Because people never change
It’s only advancement in society
That makes us seem more strange
